It’s hard to believe that we’re already nearing the end of the first month of 2019. With busy times behind us and ahead of us, there’s never a quiet moment to take stock, but sometimes it’s good to summarise the highlights of recent and future successes.

We celebrated 35 years at the forefront of West London security and fire alarm sector in 2018; a real achievement in such a fast-paced sector. We have remained a force to be reckoned with by playing on our strengths of excellent customer service and maintaining an agile approach to embracing technology and using it to provide the right solution for our clients.

We have also leveraged our specialist expertise in key sectors, such as education, healthcare and financial services, while building relationships with both main contractors and electrical contractors as a supply chain partners for new build and refurbishment projects. Indeed, last year saw us grow our estimator team with the appointment of Head Estimator, Michael Reis, ensuring that we can always respond quickly to contractor enquiries with prompt and accurate bid information to help our contractor customers win jobs.

Looking ahead to 2019, working closely with contractor partners will continue to be a key focus for WLS and we have already agreed some new preferred supplier arrangements, including a partnership with electrical contractor, Sapphire. Alongside these relationships, we will continue to work direct for end users for new build and refurbishment contracts and to provide a responsive approach to maintenance, servicing and compliance.

We at West London Security have also been working hard to articulate our unique approach to the marketplace in our new brand identity, which will be rolled out this year, following a significant programme of research and investment. Much more than a new logo, our new brand is all about how we communicate and interact with customers and it has been the starting point for a new website that will be launched soon, along with the refurbishment of our offices and a refresh of the case studies that showcase our work.

Over the past year, we have been building our online presence through social media and new content on our website and we’re looking forward to interacting with even more customers in this way in 2019 via @WestLondonSec on Twitter and our LinkedIn presence at WLS Ltd.
