Following a long-standing relationship spanning over more than 6 years, WLS were approached by the client’s internal project management team to assist with the installation of a new access control system.
The Challenge
Due to the nature of the business, staff and students are frequently required to travel between sites. Moreover, because all staff are provided with company phones, the client wanted a system where the phone could be used instead of a traditional keycard or fob. Moreover, the client wanted these benefits within a tight and specific budget.
The Solution
WLS installed a Controlsoft enterprise system, which allowed the customer to have unlimited readers and doors alongside advanced integrating features. These features included state-of-the-art mobile access capabilities, integrated biometric readers for secure rooms, integration capabilities with fire alarm systems to produce roll call reports, and a site lockdown feature in case of an attack.

The Result
The customer praised WLS for the advanced access control system we were able to install on a limited budget. Following the success of the installation, the client renewed their access control maintenance contracts with us for all sites across the UK spanning from Exeter to Glasgow.
