The client engaged us to design, manufacture and install a double telescopic sliding gate to the rear-drive of his new house in Balham.
Telescopic gates are in fact two individual gates running side by side on parallel tracks. An ingenious pulley mechanism ensures that one gate travels at twice the speed of the other and this allows maximum use of the space available to the side of the gate when the gates are open.
In this particular case, we had to install two pairs of gates to give wide access to the newly installed vehicle turntable. The gates themselves were made in our workshop and consist of steel frames with close board Iroko planks.
