Case Study: CCTV Installation with Door Entry and Access Control
Location: Mount Pleasant, Phoenix Place, London
Who the customer was
Our customer for this installation was London-based Glackin Electrics. The Mount Pleasant location was a 4-phase project. Due to the scale of this project, and the complexity of the phases, there were multiple contractors working on the project. When WLS began work on Mount Pleasant, we reported to Cilantro Engineering. Having made a good impression, we became the incumbents on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th phases of the project which were run by NWP, and Glackin Electronics respectively.
What we installed
This was a large-scale commercial project, and WLS’ security engineers installed CCTV, door entry systems, access control systems, as well as fire alarm and security systems on the London premises.
CCTV
We installed Dahua CCTV systems across the board, more specifically the Dahua 163 5mp Internal/ External Varifocal Cameras with infrared CCTV systems.
Door entry systems
We installed 137 Door Entry touch screen monitors, 133 proximity readers, 114 exit buttons, 114 break glass units and 116 magnetic locks. All of these Door Entry systems were Orcomm.
Access control
We installed Orcomm access control systems across the entirety of the development property.
Fire
We installed 248 Advanced Panel commercial smoke detectors and 105 smoke detector sounder beacons.
At WLS, our team thrives when working on large, enterprise security projects that allow us to utilise our extensive knowledge and experience. We completed this project on time and to budget, and are looking forward to our ongoing maintenance contract at Phoenix Place.
The results
The installation process was lengthy, as we were used throughout the duration of the project. All of our installations were completed successfully, the client was happy, and the client has signed an ongoing maintenance contract to keep benefitting from our expertise.
