WLS Ltd is an NSI Gold registered Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based in Crystal Palace.

We are looking to expand our Service Department due to company growth, as such we are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer to join the team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Carry out priority callouts and preventative maintenance visits on Security systems throughout the greater London and the South East.
  • Maintain open communication with Service Controllers regarding progress on jobs.
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports for both clients and office.
  • Attend product-training courses in order to expand knowledge base.
  • Provide up-to-date technical assistance and support to clients.
  • Identify any opportunity to improve efficiency and effectiveness or process improvement.
  • Complete personal administration in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain all stock levels, equipment, tools and company property.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant discipline related experience.
  • Field-based role, offering considerable independence, requiring strong self-discipline.
  • Flexible approach to work, travel and at times unsociable work hours will be required.
  • Good interpersonal skills, you will liaise with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, diligent and a team player.
  • Relevant technical certificates.
  • Full, valid UK Driving License.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Desirable requirements:

  • ECS, PASMA/IPAF certificates, preferred, but not required.

WLS Ltd is a Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based in Crystal Palace.

We are looking for an Installation and Commissioning Engineer to come and join our quickly growing engineering department.

The successful applicant will need at least 3 years’ experience both in installation and commissioning and also within the fire and security industry. The position would suit a technically knowledgeable, sociable and punctual individual, who is keen to work on a range of exciting projects.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of:
  • Provide a courteous, reliable and effective service.
  • Work as part of the WLS engineering team and provide daily pertinent feedback to office staff and engineering management.
  • Send job reports in a timely manner, advising of any replacement parts or return visits required so that prompt action can be taken by the office team.
  • Maintain a good technical knowledge of the systems that we install.
  • Liaise with technical support facilities and attend training sessions when required.
  • Complete installation documentation as required and produce certification promptly after every installation and issue to the office.
  • Promote a positive image of the company through both standards of dress and communication with customers.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is regularly cleaned and maintained in good working condition. Inform the Fleet Manager of any issues.
  • Comply with health and safety and environmental regulations.

WLS Ltd is a Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based in West Dulwich, South London.

Our gate division is growing rapidly and we need a first-rate Automated Gate Engineer with a minimum three years’ experience of working on FAAC / CAME / BFT equipment in both installation and service.

WLS Ltd is a Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based in West Dulwich.

We are looking for a Fire Alarm & Electronic Security Solutions Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Electronic Fire/ Security industry.

The successful applicant will have a proven background in high end Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, PAVA, Access Control and Door Entry Systems. The position would suit a highly organised individual with strong leadership skills, good customer relations and the ability to manage multiple on-going projects (up to the value of £2m) and people.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple installations ranging from £5k to £2m.
  • Agree project objectives.
  • Be responsible for timely labour and equipment deliveries to site and manage on site progress.
  • Conduct site and project meetings if and when necessary.
  • Ensure all variations to specifications are picked up and costed accordingly.
  • Perform risk management to reduce potential risks.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with customers and office team.
  • Make sure the quality standards of the project are met.
  • Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors.
  • Oversee the accounting, costing and billing.
  • Report to the client or senior stakeholders on progress.

A strong technical understanding and experience of working on domestic, retail and commercial based contracts/projects would be advantageous.
