8.30am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday.

Reporting to: Service Manager.

We are a fire and security installation and maintenance company based in Dulwich, South London. Due to the company’s growth, we are looking for a Service Coordinator to assist with the smooth running of the service department.

Duties include:

  • Answer new enquiry emails and calls.
  • Ensure engineers have works booked in daily.
  • Ensure jobs are sent down to engineers with all relevant information.
  • Clear down jobs.
  • Work together as a team. Engineering and office staff, help each other.
  • Check PPMs are up to date and schedule in accordingly, taking logistics into account.
  • Send reports to client’s if requested.
  • Use initiative to make sound, progressive decisions when necessary.

We are looking for:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, including attention to detail.
  • Must have knowledge/ experience of Microsoft Office, Excel and computerised information systems. Clik would be an advantageous but not essential, full training will be provided.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the office daily.

Our gate division is growing rapidly and we need a first-rate Automated Gate Engineer with a minimum three years’ experience of working on FAAC / CAME / BFT equipment in both installation and service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant discipline related experience.
  • Field-based role, offering considerable independence, requiring strong self-discipline.
  • Flexible approach to work, travel and at times unsociable work hours will be required.
  • Good interpersonal skills, you will liaise with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, diligent and a team player.
  • FAAC / CAME / BFT installations and service (min. 3 years’)
  • Full, valid UK Driving License.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Reviewing technical specifications and understanding client’s requirements.
  • Researching suitable components/systems and checking for compatibility.
  • Completing initial designs based on a technical specification.
  • Completing design calculations and presenting technical information.
  • Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers for technical data and pricing.
  • Populating quotations with technical information and costs.

Essential requirements:

  • Understanding of both fire and security technical standards and systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical industry, including electrical wiring standards and requirements, preferably with an electrical background.
  • Experience with procurement and construction processes and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
  • IT experience, MS Office, Excel and CRM systems.
  • Excellent time management.

  • Knowledge of the following fire alarm systems, GENT, Apollo, Advanced, Hochiki, Morley, Kentec.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

As a fire and security systems consultant you will be responsible for selling electronic fire and security systems to residential, commercial and large construction customers; engaging in the tender process. You will be given new business leads, act as an account manager for existing clients within our database including M&E and Main Contractors, you will also expect to generate your own leads. You should be able to achieve and exceed sales targets, draft quotations following site surveys and work with our in-house estimators. You will be able to maximise sales revenue whilst continually delivering excellent customer service. Ensure optimum cross-selling activity of all related Fire & Security products whilst keeping up to date with relevant legislation. Accurately complete the necessary documentation regarding any spec/design in accordance with the clients’ requirements and codes of practise.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in sales within fire and security industry.
  • A good knowledge of electronic systems including Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems, Access Control, Fire Alarms and automated gates.
  • Be able to build partnerships with Architects, M and E Contractors and Main Contractors, both by telephone and field sales visits.
  • Tender preparation and response, including bid management, negotiate costing etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Ideally be from a technical, solution-based sales background.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highley motivated and target driven.
  • Driving licence.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary up to £50k DOE, plus 5% commission on jobs won and quarterly bonus. OTE £95k.
